Watercolor Florida Engagement Session – Hannah + Jeremy

I knew these days were on the horizon, but I’m still not prepared for how quickly they have arrived. Rhiannon, my daughter (and 2nd shooter), has reached that age where her friends are starting to get married and/or start families of their own. Several years ago I was shooting their senior sessions, and with sweet Hannah, now we’re moving on to their engagement sessions and weddings. How did this happen? When did they all become so grown???

As I sat on the phone with Hannah today, working on the photography timeline for her wedding, I felt like I was planning the day for Rhi. The connection is that long lived and intimate. We talked about family photos, and I teared up realizing Hannah’s sweet uncle John wouldn’t be a part of her big day. Then laughed with her, as we joked about how quickly her sister Lauren could be dressed and ready to help Hannah into her gown. After we wrapped up our call, I was struck (again) by how very blessed I am to get to do what I do for a living. Hannah has always been a beautiful light and she literally shines with Jeremy – and she trusts *ME* to capture one of the most important moments of her life. I’m so honored.

Anyhoo, Hannah + Jeremy’s wedding at Rosie Creek Farms is just over a month a way, so I though I should probably post their engagement session before their wedding images!
