Marry the girl who will check for gnats when they fly up your nose. That’s the girl. She’ll always have your back.

Stowe Engagement Session

Cady Falls is a beautiful waterfall located in Stowe, Vermont. It’s a popular spot for hiking, picnicking, and photography. The falls are located in the Worcester Range of the Green Mountains, and the hike to the falls is about 1.5 miles round trip. The trail is relatively easy, with a few moderate inclines, and it follows Cady Brook through the woods. Along the way, you’ll pass by several smaller cascades before arriving at the main falls, which are about 30 feet high. The falls are especially beautiful in the spring, when the snowmelt creates a strong flow, but they are lovely at any time of year. Have you been to Cady Falls before?

Thinking of planning a Stowe engagement session?

Here are a few tips to help you plan your session:

  1. Coordinate with your photographer to decide on the best time of day for the session. Early morning or late afternoon are usually the best times for outdoor sessions, as the light is softer and more flattering.
  2. Consider what to wear. Coordinating outfits can look great in photos, but you don’t want to match too closely. Choose colors that complement each other and your surroundings.
  3. Make a list of any specific shots or poses you would like to include in the session. You can also ask your photographer for suggestions based on the location and your personalities.
  4. Don’t forget to relax and have fun! This is a special moment in your lives, so try to let go of any nerves or self-consciousness and just enjoy the experience with your partner.

I hope these tips are helpful, and that you have a wonderful engagement session!
