Erin & Evan’s Elegant Spruce Peak Wedding in Stowe, Vermont
Erin and Evan celebrated their marriage with an elegant Lodge at Spruce Peak wedding in Stowe, Vermont. Surrounded by breathtaking mountain views, the couple exchanged vows in a heartfelt ceremony on the Ballroom Terrace of The Lodge at Spruce Peak.
We had the absolute pleasure of capturing Erin and Evan’s wedding at the stunning Spruce Peak Resort in Stowe, Vermont. From the moment we first connected with Erin and Evan, we knew this was going to be a special day.
A Day of Elegance and Intimacy
Erin and Evan, with the help of The Lodge at Spruce Peak wedding coordinator Brigitte Kenny, they meticulously planned an elegant and intimate celebration. Their focus was on creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere, and we were honored to be a part of it.
A Ceremony of Love
The ceremony, officiated by their close friend Kyle Medeiros, took place on the Ballroom Terrace of The Lodge at Spruce Peak. Surrounded by breathtaking mountain views, Erin, radiant in her Antonio Gual gown from The White Dress by the Shore, exchanged vows with Evan, who looked dapper in his suit from Frank’s Tailoring.
Evan’s wedding band holds a special significance, having belonged to his father. It bears the touching inscription “Always and Forever,” which was his parents’ wedding song. Erin’s engagement ring also carries a special meaning, having been passed down from Evan’s grandmother to his mother and then to her.
Kari Anderson of Pistil Productions brought their vision to life with stunning floral arrangements that complemented the natural beauty of the Green Mountain backdrop. Sage green and white/neutrals created a soft and sophisticated palette.
A Spruce Peak Wedding to Remember
The reception, filled with joy and laughter, was brought to life by the music of A House on Fire (check them out if you’re looking for a Vermont based band for your wedding!). Guests dined on delicious cuisine and celebrated with a beautiful wedding cake, both provided by The Lodge at Spruce Peak.
Capturing the Essence of the Day
As photographers, we strive to capture not just the grand moments, but also the small, intimate details that tell the unique story of each of our couples. We believe in creating a relaxed and enjoyable experience for everyone involved, and were thrilled to hear Erin’s feedback:
“We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Joanna, Rhiannon & Chris! From the first phone call, I immediately felt comfortable with Joanna and knew she 100% understood our vision for the day.”
Erin and Evan don’t love being in front of the camera, and they expressed how at ease they felt throughout the day. “Nothing ever felt forced, and the whole team captured so many candid moments of the day, it made us really comfortable.”
We truly value this feedback. Our goal is to create images that not only look beautiful, but also evoke the emotions and memories of the day. As Erin so kindly put it, “They have a true talent for telling a story through their lens, and looking through our photos is like reliving our wedding day.”
A Team Approach
We were also touched by Erin’s comments on our team: “So many of our guests commented on how friendly and approachable they were, especially when being asked to take so many photos!”
It’s incredibly rewarding to hear that our presence added to the positive atmosphere of the day.
“If you’re looking for a team that genuinely cares about their work and will go above and beyond to deliver breathtaking photos, we highly recommend the team at Sixpence,” Erin recommends. “We’re so grateful for the beautiful memories they’ve preserved for us.” Okay Erin, we’re not crying – you’re crying!
We are incredibly grateful to Erin and Evan for choosing us to document their special day. Their wedding at Spruce Peak was a true testament to their love and the beauty of celebrating with loved ones in such a stunning setting.
