Summer’s Last Stand: A Boho Rustic Wedding Celebration on South Hero Island!
Vermont summers are legendary, and Jade and Geoff’s wedding day on Grande Isle in South Hero Island was a picture-perfect example of why. Warm weather, gorgeous light, and a laid-back, boho rustic vibe set the stage for a celebration that was equal parts beautiful and fun.
The ceremony itself was a truly intimate affair. With Heidi Auclair coordinating the flow, and Kevin Warner officiating, Jade and Geoff opted for a heartfelt exchange of letters instead of traditional vows. This sweet personalization added a layer of intimacy that had everyone tearing up (happy tears, of course!).
Speaking of tears, can we talk about that dress? Jade, a vision of elegance in her gown from Fiori, looked radiant. Her something borrowed, a necklace from her grandma wrapped around her bouquet by Chappels Floral Designer, added a touch of sentimental charm. And those sapphire earrings? Well, those were a special tribute to her daughter, her “something blue” and a constant reminder of the precious bond they share.
But Jade wasn’t the only star of the show. Their daughter absolutely stole the hearts of all the guests as the flower girl, adding a touch of whimsical joy to the ceremony. The party afterwards was pure Vermont bliss! Rick’s Catering kept everyone fueled for dancing the night away to the tunes of DJ David Mignott.
This wedding wasn’t just about celebrating Jade and Geoff’s love; it was a celebration of family and friendship. As Jade herself said, what she was most looking forward to was being surrounded by loved ones, and that feeling of togetherness permeated the entire day.
Congratulations again to Jade and Geoff! We wish you a lifetime of happiness together.
