Isabella’s session is a perfect example of why I love Middlebury VT senior photography—it allows us to showcase the hardworking, rustic spirit of our local students. As an MUHS senior and dedicated 4-H member, Isabella wanted her session to feel timeless rather than modern. We spent the afternoon at her family’s Lazy Dog Farm in Orwell, capturing her connection to the land and the animals she’s raised. We even made a stop at the East Shoreham Covered Bridge that was used by the railway back in the day, providing a weathered, architectural backdrop that fits her style perfectly. It was an honor to document her Vermont roots before she takes her agricultural passion to Cornell University next year.
